Tick tock, tick tock
That’s the sound of the Brexit clock
Counting down the time until
We leave the EU, by the people’s will
MPs voted down the deal from May
Whilst trying to keep ‘no deal’ at bay
Thousands marched for a People’s Vote
To keep the Remain idea afloat
A petition was launched to buy more time
The signature count continues to climb
But how can the country ever decide
When Brexit divisions are still so wide
The outlook is grim, whether Leave or Remain
We’ve lost so much, with little to gain
With three weeks to go, nothing is clear
Except that the deadline is growing near
Something must happen to break the deadlock
Before time runs out on the Brexit clock
