After much deliberation over what content management system to use, I’ve finally brought back Rogue Students, which is now powered by vBulletin forums and some extra files courtesy of vBadvanced to make the home page display the latest news.
Any feedback on the site would be appreciated, and if you want to get involved all you have to do is sign up for an account to be able to post in the forums. I’m also looking for people to help post events from their university area, if you’re interested in helping with this please let me know.
It’s purple – always good 🙂
I wasn’t too sure of the purple at first, but having looked at it for a while I’m beginning to warm to it a bit more.
Apparently it’s the colour of royalty, rank and authority…

and besides bees like purple – I was told that by the Eden project 😀
Oh well if it’s the colour of love I’ll have to change it then, can’t have any soppy stuff on the site – people will think I’ve started going soft. 😉
I heard somewhere that bees like purple as well, although I’m not sure if any detailed study has actually been done on it. I guess my dad would know better than I do, him being a conservation biologist as opposed to me as a computer scientist.
